We love summer fun!
In fact at esmale, the nr1 gay sex toys store in the UK we are all about fun! Now that the rules turned into guidelines we have been loving being out again and responsible enjoy the Sun (when it was out) the bars and beer gardens. We have even been dancing which was amazing! Being in the room with men and some banging tunes! I had no idea how much I missed that, shame my dance-moves are still the same!
Summer sale is on
Another fun element we enjoyed during the pandemic was discovering a bit more about UK. Don’t get me wrong, flights to sunny Sitges have been booked. But our time spend in Bournemouth and Hasting have been great. We found lots of LGTBQ bars or at least friendly bar and encountered lots of great people (at a distance).
Whilst in lockdown we saw an increase in the online sale of toys, lube and many other adult related products. With the stores being closed it was expected that online sales would go up. What surprised us is that we also saw growth in the demand of gay underwear
This to us was a bit surprising. We thought with people being at home the need for this would reduce. Then we got some feedback from our lovely customers, and it seemed that taking pictures in a sexy pair of briefs or jockstrap was more popular than ever. This kind of makes sense. If you can’t show off in real live this would be the next best thing. Luckily, we have some great brands in our store so our customer could fill their boots and show off in style!
What will you be doing?
What are you looking forward to in the next few months? Are you back on the dating scene again? Opinions at esmale HQ are divided. Some of the guys went straight back onto Grindr, Recon etc as soon as Freedom Day was here. Others are still being careful and maintain some of the rules that were implemented, their thought process is that even though the rules are gone the virus is still around. I guess everyone need to make up their own mind and what works for them whilst being respectful to people with a different opinion.

We are looking forward to our first work-do, a few pints in our London local followed by a meal after-which some will go on and party the night away whereas others are getting more joy out of sofa surfing with some good telly and a nightcap. Either way it will be great fun.
