It’s incredible to think that after 15 years, Strictly Come Dancing still hasn’t had regular same-sex pairings on the hit BBC television show. This could however change next year as the beeb finally move into the 21st century. In a statement, the BBC said:-
“Strictly Come Dancing is an inclusive show and we are proud to have featured same sex dancing amongst the professional dancers in group numbers in previous series. We are completely open to the prospect of including same sex pairings between our celebrities and professional dancers in the future, should the opportunity arise”
However, the new series which begins this upcoming weekend will only feature mixed couples. Our favourite dancer here at Esmale, AJ Pritchard was one of the few professionals to have performed with another same-sex professional last year. Here are some of our favourite pictures of the cutie!
